Shipping, Store and Warranty Policies 

  • Please Note: Sale Items cannot be returned after 15 days
  • We use McAfee Secure and Comodo Secure SSL as well as many other safety measure to assure your online safety using your credit card and PayPal at our site.
  • The McAfee SECURE™ trustmark only appears when the website has passed our intensive, daily security scan. We test for possible personal information access, links to dangerous sites, phishing, and other online dangers.
  • Symantec SSL Certificate is for secure e-commerce and confidential communications.
  • After September 1st, 2010, Chamilia USA will not allowing any retail stores in the United States to ship Chamilia product outside of the United States.
  • The Perfect Pear will continue to ship Hand Painted Beads and L'amore Glass and Silver Beads internationally.
  • Out of stock items (OOS) - Items out of stock will stay on backorder unless otherwise noted or cancelled before shipping. Occasionally items will be placed on an invoice as out of stock and will ship as soon as they are re-stocked. If any bead is mistakenly out of stock and is ordered, we will send the bead as soon as we have it with a 10% off certificate for your next order. Please note that pre-ordered items and custom hand painted and portrait beads are not available for immediate shipment and are not included in this guarantee.
  • Please check for the correctness of your address, as it is not the responsibility of the shipper, The Perfect Pear
  • Please note: Due to international fraud, all international shipments will be comprehensively checked with your credit card issuing bank before shipments are mailed. This may cause a delay in shipment. Please note that international orders shipped to the U.S. will be comprehensively checked and will be delayed.
  • All international orders may require a 3 way phone call with the customer, the issuing bank and The Perfect Pear
  • It is highly recommended that international customers use American Express. International address verification with AMEX is much faster.
  • All orders that are international may be subject to a customs/duty buy the receivers country and are not the responsibility of The Perfect Pear.
  • All orders that are international do not include free shipping and appropriate shipping of $25.00 or $40.00 will be added based on the amount purchased. See Shipping Types & Times Page.
  • Shipping Partial orders - In the event there is/are OOS item(s) in a multi-item order, it is our policy to ship if we can provide 75% of the amount or item # of the order. During the holidays we may ship at 50% with a backorder pending.
  • Orders that qualify for a free item must have the free item added to the cart before checkout and will not be sent after the order is completed.
  • Returns/Exchanges - Chamilia is returned on an exchange basis only unless there is a special circumstance. Please contact us with questions. Because we deal in a collectible market we accept returns on a approved exchange only and they may not be accepted 30 days after being shipped. All defective items may be exchanged for the exact item (if Possible) for up to  30  days after date of shipment due to sale items. All approved returns of items are considered web-store credits and can be used for other Perfect Pear product. These items are subject to re-stocking fee and initial shipping is not credited. Cancellations after order processing are subject to a fee. On free shipping a shipping charge will be assessed. If an Item is a special order (any item that is not in our regular inventory.) a return for credit may not be issued after 30 days and approved returns are assessed a restocking fee. Note: if an item is listed on the site, it still may be a special order. Please contact us before you order if you are concerned about a potential return. A restocking fees may be greater than 15% if the packaging is not original. Cancellations after order processing are subject to a 15% restocking fee also.  These fees are to cover bank fees shipping and misc. fees. The Perfect Pear attempts to be as fair as possible with all returns and exchanges but reserves the right to assess fees where necessary
  • All orders that do not have an address match may be cancelled.
  • Chamilia, Lamore, College Beads and Name Beads are all compatible with all brands with one exception. Troll Beads do not fit on Chamilia or any screw type bracelets.
  • We will make every effort to have the items delivered as requested. Currently 99% of our orders are shipping within 1-2 business days of being ordered, and often ships on the same day. We will contact you if there is a problem.  Most items are shipping first class mail on the day or following day of the order.
  • If a package is lost during transport, the items will be reshipped after an investigation of the  shipment (usually less then one week) or a store credit will be issued.
  • Please note that all custom name and photo beads are non refundable and take a minimum of two to three weeks to make. These orders can not be cancelled.
  • The Perfect Pear usually ships with in 48 hours or less and shipping delays by a mailing service are not the responsibility of The Perfect Pear and can not be returned or cancelled.
  • All Discontinued Items are Non-Refundable. Please Note: Sale Items cannot be returned after 15 days
  • All international shipments will be comprehensively checked with your credit card issuing bank before shipments are mailed and may cause a delay.
  • All Pre-Order Items once ordered can not be cancelled but can be exchanged for another bead or item. Please also note that pre-orders will be billed to your credit card when ordered to be shipped when available per the dates on the website.
  • The The Perfect Pear is a family owned and operated business since 1978. We have been selling Chamilia and Lamore di Firenze for over 10 years and take pride in having all beads in stock and ready to ship. We keep all of the inventory in stock and have shipments coming from Chamilia at least two times a week. We have 99.9% of all our beads in stock and ready to ship and if it is out of stock it is often for less then one week. We often have less then 2 to 3 beads in the entire collection out of stock at any one time. Our new website has a very advanced inventory system and if a bead is visible on the site it is in stock and ready to ship, unless it is a pre-order or custom item. If any bead is mistakenly out of stock and is ordered, we will send the bead as soon as we have it with a 10% off certificate for your next order. Please note that pre-ordered items and custom hand painted and portrait beads are not available for immediate shipment and are not included in this guarantee.
  • PayPal Bill Me Later Terms and conditions are seperate of our Terms and conditions. All agreements with PayPal are not associated with The Perfect Pear except for the actual payment to The Perfect Pear.

  • Chamilia, Collegiate, NFL, Lamore di Firenze, and Hand Painted beads and jewelry are very special and must be handled properly to keep it looking beautiful and lasting longer. Our warranty will not apply to any product if the following instructions are not followed:

    Twelve Month Limited Warranty - twelve months from the date of sale. --- Our  warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship only. Our warranty covers manufacturer defects for up to 12 months from the date of the purchases the product from with proof of purchase date for replacement only. Retired items are no longer covered under warranty after 30 days of being retired/Discontinued/Sold or on Close Out.

    Defects include, but are not limited to, clasp defects, stripped threads and missing gem stones.
    * General wear and tear and improper cleaning are not covered by the Warranty Policy.
    This includes damage from using liquid silver polish on the product, wearing it in pools or hot tubs and normal fading on oxidized items. Chamilia silver and gold beads are treated to resist tarnishing, but sometimes they require a quick touch-up. To do so, we recommendonly using a silver polishing cloth - click here.

    Oxidized items are specially treated to give them their dark appearance. When worn, the finish may fade. This is not a defect but a result of normal wear and tear.

    Be sure not to use any type of liquid silver polish as it removes the oxidization from the beads and bracelets. We will not exchange or return any product that has been exposed to silver polish.

    It is also recommended that you remove your jewelry before coming into contact with water, hot tubs or pools, as exposure to harsh chemicals can alter the appearance of your Chamilia, Collegiate, NFL, Lamore di Firenze, and Hand Painted beads and jewelry. We will not exchange or return any product that has been exposed to harsh chemicals.

  • Chrysalis has a 6 month replacement warranty on defects only. If merchandise is found to be defective, it will be either repaired or replaced. A manufacturing defect includes and is not limited to soldering abnormalities, faulty plating or missing crystals. Unsymmetrical bangle after wear is not considered a manufactures defect. We will not refund or replace goods damaged by wrongful use or improper handling by a retailer or customer. Replacements will only be made within 6 months of purchase. No merchandise will be replaced or mailed prior to receiving the actual return.
  • Fresh and Chic has a 45 day replacement warranty on defects only and a a 14 day return for store credit. If merchandise is found to be defective, it will be either repaired, replaced or store credit provided. A manufacturing defect includes and is not limited to soldering abnormalities, faulty plating or missing crystals. We will not replace goods damaged by wrongful use or improper handling by a retailer or customer. Replacements will only be made within 45 days of purchase. No merchandise will be replaced or mailed prior to receiving the actual return.
  • Do not ship product back to us in a plain envelope. We will not be held responsible and credit will not be given for lost or damaged items as a result of poor packaging.
    Once we receive the returned goods, the returned product will be inspected to ensure the items meet the defective goods guidelines.
